Maria Reza
Maria designs and implements the parent leadership curriculum and mentoring program, coaches and mentors parent leaders through leadership roles, identifies community needs, and coordinates parent leaders and resources to make them accessible to the families of Bachman Lake. Born in Querétaro, Mexico, she earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. As an immigrant herself, she realized how the U.S. systems worked differently and is grateful that there were organizations in Bachman Lake that provided resources to help her family get acclimated. Now, she gives back to the organization that has given so much to her by helping other parents and families like hers. She is inspired to see immigrant mothers advocate within the community, using their unique experiences to enact systematic changes for children and their families.
