A Successful Start: Annual Back to School Fair
Our Annual Back to School Fair helps Bachman Lake families have A Successful Start by preparing them physically and emotionally for the new year, while engaging in fun activities to excite children for school.

A Successful Start is Bachman Lake Together’s annual Back-to-School Fair that serves as a holistic resource fair and hub for Bachman Lake families to receive free resources to prepare to send their young children to school. Families are provided with free school supplies and resources, including workshops and activities covering key topics such as mental health, physical health, and social and emotional learning, to successfully prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. Young children and families in Bachman Lake are invited to enjoy the following:
Resource fair with community partners including the Perot Museum, Dallas ISD and more
Children ages 3-5 years old will receive a free backpack with supplies for Pre-K (while supplies last)
Interactive sessions about early childhood education, nutrition and wellness
Local vendors and family-friendly activities
Raffles (while supplies last)
You don’t want to miss this day filled with learning, resources and fun!
How to participate:
Families with young children enrolled in programming at Bachman Lake Together or planning to attend PreK or Kindergarten at local Bachman Lake elementary schools are invited to attend! Family registration is now open.
